The world is a story and how we make meaning of those stories defines us as individuals. As artists, we make those stories visual for ourselves and others to see, to process and to integrate. 

When we have a developed vocabulary of story, we both consciously and intuitively work with symbols that make sense of our world, our circumstances and what is happening in our lives and in the culture around us. The word we use for this now is Mythology, but myth isn’t a thing of the past, it is a living, breathing process that both maintains essential truths and continually evolves in relevancy.
