As visual artists we are constantly engaging with our imagination and seeking inspiration from it. 

• Could we be bolder in identifying ways of considering it, bridging the gap toward the imagination and all that it holds with more clarity of purpose?
• Could we map the path way in?
• Could we study our intent along the way and refine it?
• Could we become better artists, storytellers and creatives by claiming our own inner territory and all that doing this entails?

Inner Journeying is a way to the wellspring which aids in administering all imaginal inspiration to us. During this course you will learn Kevin's Trifold Approach to Inner Journeying, teaching you the essentials of the practice. He will also guide you to discovering your own Alchemical Memory Palace and in journeying into the subtle levels of your painting while effectively helping you expand and hone your inner senses. In parallel to this, he will instruct you in his most used and most loved techniques for painting in acrylics.

• You will learn how to create a textural imprimatura or ground, the 'Prima Materia' of your painting, inviting unexpected elements to appear.
• You will learn how to transfer your composition and begin a monochromatic underpainting, developing values and creating volume and depth with shadows and highlights from a mid tone.
• You will further learn about colour glazing and adding layers of refinement.
• Kevin will teach his 'glasslike' Vitreous Technique, a way of creating fluid glasslike and gemlike effects which can be incorporated into your piece.
